Who we are

Sun/Lime helps people find bright patios, compare live patio conditions, save favourites, and contribute reviews, photos, and listing updates. This policy explains how Sun/Lime handles personal information across the mobile app, website, and operator dashboard.

Information we collect

Sun/Lime may collect:

• account details such as your email address and authentication identifiers
• optional profile details such as a display name
• reviews, ratings, tags, reports, favourites, and saved patios you create inside the product
• photos you upload for patio listings
• patio submissions, listing edits, and claim requests
• foreground location data used at runtime for nearby sorting and map experiences
• device and session information needed to keep the app signed in and functioning securely

How we use information

• to authenticate your account and keep you signed in
• to publish, rank, and moderate patio listings, reviews, and photos
• to personalize saved patios, favourites, and nearby recommendations
• to let business operators manage claimed listings
• to investigate abuse, fraud, safety issues, or incorrect listings
• to improve the reliability and quality of Sun/Lime

Public content

Patio listings, reviews, ratings, tags, photos, and shared favourites may be visible to other users or public web visitors. If you submit content to Sun/Lime, treat it as material that may appear publicly inside the product.

Location and maps

Sun/Lime may request foreground device location so it can sort patios by proximity and support map-based discovery. Device location is used at runtime for nearby experiences. Patio addresses may also be geocoded into map coordinates for listings.

Service providers

Sun/Lime uses third-party providers to operate the service, including:

• Supabase for authentication, database storage, and media storage
• Google for optional Google sign-in
• Google Maps SDK for Android when map features are enabled in Android builds
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim for address lookup and geocoding support

Sun/Lime does not sell personal information.

Account deletion and retention

You can delete your account from the mobile profile screen or by visiting https://sunlime.app/account/delete.

When an account is deleted, Sun/Lime removes or clears personal activity tied to that account, including:

• your sign-in account
• saved patios and favourites
• reviews, sun votes, patio tags, time tags, and reports tied to your account
• photos you uploaded, including stored image objects where applicable
• claim requests tied to your account

Some patio listings may remain live after deletion if they are part of the shared directory. In those cases, personally identifying ownership fields are cleared while the public listing itself can remain available.

Security

• data is transmitted over HTTPS
• runtime permission prompts are shown before location, camera, or photo-library access
• authentication sessions are managed through Supabase
